Our S.T.R.E.A.M. Focus

We believe in empowering every child to reach their full potential.

At xS.T.R.E.A.M. Minds Academy, scholars engage in a dynamic interdisciplinary model that integrates Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Arts, and Math. STREAM classes blend hands-on challenges with real-world tools to spark curiosity, deepen critical thinking, and foster innovation.

Kindergarten, 3rd, 6th

Animation, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Drones, Robotics

1st, 4th, 7th:

Coding, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Robotics

2nd, 5th, 8th:

Engineering Design, Mobile App Development, AR/VR, Robotics

The program is aligned with the Alabama Digital Literacy and Computer Science (DLCS) Standards, ensuring scholars build foundational digital skills, computational thinking, and responsible tech practices.

  • Are charter schools public schools?
    Yes! Charter schools receive federal and state funding. Any student is able to enroll in a public charter school.
  • Do students pay to attend charter schools?
    No! Charter schools are tuition-free. Students only pay fees that would be paid at a traditional public school.
  • How do students enroll?
    Students enroll by completing an application online. To pre-enroll, click here.
  • What are the requirements for admission?
    Any student can apply for admission. The only requirement is that the student be an Alabama resident.
  • How are students selected for enrollment?
    We use a third-party system to ensure enrollment selection is fair and equitable.
